All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.”
—2 Corinthians 5:17–18

Reflection:
Over the past two Sundays, we’ve been reminded that home with God is a place of belonging and grace. In the parable of the banquet (Luke 14:15–24), Jesus shows us that God’s invitation is wide open—there’s always room at the table, and no one is too far gone to be welcomed in. Then in 2 Corinthians 5, Paul tells us that God not only welcomes us home, but also gives us the ministry of welcoming others.
Home isn’t just a place where we rest in God’s love—it’s also a place from which we extend that love. To be “home” in Christ is to be made new, reconciled, and then sent out to open the door wide for others. We’re not just guests at God’s table—we’re hosts now, carrying His invitation to those still searching for belonging.

Questions to Ponder This Week:

Where do I need to rest again in God’s welcome for me?

Who in my life is waiting for an invitation, a kind word, or a gesture of belonging?

How can my home, my church, or even my daily conversations be a doorway to God’s embrace?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for welcoming me home through Christ. Remind me that Your table is wide, and Your arms are open. Give me eyes to see the people around me who need that same welcome. May my words and actions this week point others to the One who invites us all. Amen.

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

Reflection
On Sunday we talked about generosity—not just giving some, but giving all you can. That doesn’t mean emptying your wallet or neglecting your family’s needs. It means living with a heart posture that says, “All I am and all I have belongs to God.”

We often think of giving in terms of money, but “all you can” includes your time, energy, words, attention, and presence. When you slow down long enough to really listen to a friend, when you serve someone without expecting anything in return, when you choose to forgive instead of holding on to bitterness—you’re giving all you can.

Generosity isn’t measured by the size of the gift but by the size of the sacrifice. The widow in Luke 21 gave two small coins, but Jesus said she gave more than all the rest because she gave from her heart. The same is true for us: God delights in cheerful, wholehearted generosity.

Mid-Week Challenge

Ask yourself daily: What can I give today that will bless someone else?

Pick one area this week—your words, your time, or your resources—and intentionally give more than you normally would.

Pray before you give: “Lord, all I have is Yours. Show me where and how I can give all I can today.”

Prayer
Lord, You gave everything for us. Teach us to live with open hands and open hearts. Help us to give all we can—our time, energy, resources, and love—so that others may see You in us. May our generosity bring joy to others and glory to Your name. Amen.

When we save wisely, we create margin. Margin allows us to meet needs when they arise, to give generously when God calls, and to live without the crushing weight of financial fear.
Think about it: saving is really an act of trust. It’s saying, “God, I believe You will provide, and I will prepare to be ready to use what You’ve given me for good.” Every dollar saved with discipline today can become a tool for ministry, a resource for your family, or a blessing for someone in need tomorrow.

Reflection Questions:

Am I saving with purpose, or am I simply consuming without thought?

How might God want to use my savings—not just for me, but for His kingdom?

Prayer:
“Lord, thank You for every resource You’ve placed in my hands. But Micah reminds us that God’s idea of greatness has always been different.
God isn’t asking us to go viral or change the world in one sweep. He’s asking us to do justice — not just believe in it. To love mercy — not just tolerate people. And to walk humbly — not chase applause.
This is the kind of life that shapes culture and shifts history. It's quiet. It’s faithful. And it’s powerful.
If it feels like there are no more world-changers out there, maybe it’s because God is calling us to be the ones. Not someday — but now. In your workplace. Your neighborhood. And most importantly, He came near.
He could’ve stayed in heaven, untouched by human pain. But instead, He stepped into skin and bone, into hunger and betrayal, into our broken world—and bore it all. The Creator entered His own creation—not to condemn it, but to save it.
And that means something powerful for your Wednesday:

If Jesus really is the Son of God, then you are not alone in your struggle.

Your prayers aren’t whispers into the dark—they’re heard by the One who knows your heart.

Your identity isn’t based on how strong you are—but on the strength of the One who came for you.

Jesus isn’t asking you to earn your way to God.
